Are you familiar with the Edsel automobile—Ford's big flop in the late fifties? In theory it was an excellent car, but people didn't make an emotional connection to what they saw, so they didn't buy it. A presenter faces the same challenge in selling an idea to an audience. That's where I come in with my quarter century of experience—taking Edsel content and delivering Ferrari slides.

My career as a presentation specialist began in 1981 with Genigraphics and, since 1996, I have been enhancing my skills specifically in PowerPoint and Photoshop. From 1990 until 1999 I worked in the New Media and Video groups at Silicon Graphics as digital artist/designer and art director/producer. My most notable contribution during that time was the expertise and resourcefulness I provided to become regarded as SGI's presentation guru. I directly supported the top executives, product managers, as well as others throughout the company, worldwide, by creating elegant speaker support templates and presentations that had a consistent corporate look and feel and accentuated SGI's trademark graphics capabilities.

This same level of service and resourcefulness is currently available to an employer here in the San Francisco South Bay area on either a permanent or consulting basis.
